Welcome to the State of Backstage Survey

It's a yearly survey of the Backstage community. Backstage has a thriving community but because of the nature of an Internal Developer Portal, information tends to get stuck in individual companies. BackstageCon helps break out of our bubble and share inforamtion, but capturing trends and understand how the community as a whole is operating is hard.

We capture email to keep you informed about the survey and send you a copy of the report once it is published. No names, addresses, personal preferences, or other identifying information is captured. No individual responses will be published - only the aggregate findings and trends.

In Spring 2025 a survey report will be published with aggregated information. If you complete the survey and leave us your email then you'll be the first to get it.
